Back at the end of February 2014 I received a shipment from my friends at American eLiquid Store; the entire line of Dura Smoke Premium Blend EJuice, one bottle of each of the six flavors in the line. (If there had been seven I would have been compelled to do a post in our “Sevens” section.)
It took a little over two weeks to put each flavor through the rigorous Seven Report review protocol, write, shoot and post the reviews. But it was a wonderful two weeks of vaping some phenomenal ejuice. One of the toughest decisions I have to make when confronted with receiving multiple flavors of ejuice for review is the order in which to review them. I usually will read the descriptions on the suppliers’ website, maybe take a whiff of the pre-vaped ejuices and then order them so that I’m pretty sure I’m starting and finishing with flavors that I’m going to enjoy, leaving those I’m not so sure about for the middle.
Turns out, it really didn’t matter what order I reviewed the Dura Smoke Premium Blend ejuices in; I enjoyed them all. Taste is a very individual, personal thing, so while every one of these ejuices are excellent, and I recommend them all, I did favor a couple more than others.
The Dura Smoke Premium Blend line includes flavors that run the gamut of fruity, tobacco, dessert, creamy, drink and cinnamon flavors. That’s six flavor types I’ve just listed, but some of these ejuices combine flavors from multiple taste families. Seven Report published in depth reviews on each flavor, so this is a recap to give you the most pertinent information all in one place. I hope you’ll go back and read each review on its own, just click on the name of each ejuice below to go that flavor’s review.
CreamZilla: The first of the Dura Smoke Premium Blend ejuices I sampled set the bar pretty high. Dura Smoke describes CreamZilla as “Creamy custard and fruits that make a sweet and savory vape.” CreamZilla has a smooth fruity flavor that’s not too sweet with a creamy finish. The experience is reminiscent of eating one of those Dreamsicle ice cream treats in the way the fruit flavor gives way to the cream. To me the flavor was just a tad lighter than most custard ejuices I’ve vaped. This wound up being my second favorite of the Dura Smoke Premiums.
Punch Drunk: “Fresh fruit and exotic fruit punch make an ultra sweet vape.” That’s how Dura Smoke describes Punch Drunk. The taste is that of fresh fruit with a pleasing aroma. It’s a little on the sweet side, but refreshing. And the individual flavors are blended so completely it’s difficult to identify them all.
Renegade: One of two tobacco-based ejuices in the Dura Smoke Premium line, Renegade is unmistakably a tobacco flavor. Dura Smoke describes it as, “Bold tobacco flavor with a hint of cream.” It has a bold, rich taste with a note of creamy sweetness. The throat hit is decent and the vapor is creamy and rich, more so than that of most tobacco ejuices. On the downside, there is a slight aftertaste and the aroma is definitely tobacco, which could be offensive to some.
Snow Bird: The second of the tobacco-based flavors, Snow Bird is described by Dura Smoke as, “Bold tobacco, banana and exotic fruit.” This is truly a unique flavor combination, and one that is surprisingly good. The flavors are blended in near perfect harmony. The tobacco isn’t overpowering. In fact, I noticed the banana as the primary note on the inhale. The vaper is smooth, creamy and warm. There is the slightest of tobacco aftertastes and tobacco is present in the aroma. Snow Bird was my third favorite of the Premium Blend line.
Citra Smash: Dura Smoke describes Citra Smash as, “Citrus, sweet and tangy eLiquid that you won’t be able to put down.” The citrus notes of this ejuice are slightly sweet with a hint of tanginess, but not overpoweringly citrus. There’s an effervescent quality to Citra Smash. The individual flavors are blended well, the aroma is fruity and pleasant. About the only negative is that the throat hit is very mild.
Sweet Lava: This was the last of the Dura Smoke Premium Blend ejuices I sampled. Turns out I saved the best for last, or at least the one that became my favorite. Dura Smoke describes it as, “Rumchata and fireball…enough said.” There’s a very prominent cinnamon flavor to Sweet Lava, but it’s cinnamon done right, not overpowering, not biting. The vapor is warm and the aroma is that of a Latte with a dash of cinnamon. It’s creamy and smooth with a mild to medium throat hit.
No matter your taste preferences, you’re sure to find a couple of new favorites in the Dura Smoke Premium Blend line. Do yourself a favor, be a little adventurous and try them all, you’re likely to be pleasantly surprised by at least a few of them.
American eLiquid Store offers the entire Dura Smoke Premium Blend line in 30 ml bottles for $20.99. Available nicotine levels are 0, 3, 6, 12, 18 and 24 MG. All of these ejuices come in a 100% VG base mix, except for Snow Bird, which has a 50/50 PG/VG ratio. I vaped all them in a Kangertech Subtank Nano powered by an Eleaf iStick 50 Watt. American eLiquid Store provided the entire Dura Smoke Premium Blend line for the purpose of Seven Report reviews.
