Ask any kid what their favorite flavor of punch is and chances are the answer will be a color rather than a flavor. That’s more of an indictment of the prepackaged Hi-C and Hawaiian Punch brands than of the sophistication of children’s taste buds. Real punch, good punch has actual flavor, usually fruity and, depending on what else is mixed in, a little tangy.
The word “punch” comes from the Sanskrit for “five,” since it was originally made with five ingredients; alcohol, sugar, lemon, water and tea or spices. It originated in India and was brought to England in the early 17th century by English sailors. The first English punches were like Wassail, made with a wine or brandy base. Somewhere around 1655 Jamaican rum was introduced as a base liquid.
Dura Smoke Punch Drunk ejuice is reminiscent of a punch you’d find served in a crystal punch bowl at a fancy affair. It’s nothing like that red or blue stuff that comes out of those big cans found on grocery store shelves.

The taste of Punch Drunk is fruity, fresh and sweet with the hint of something extra that elevates it from merely another multi-fruit flavored ejuice to something almost elegant. The flavor is blended so completely that it’s difficult to identify individual fruits, though there’s a citrus note and, to borrow from the kids’ manner of identifying punch, something red in there too.
The flavor is consistent on both the inhale and exhale, tank after tank after tank. The vapor is rich, smooth and slightly cool with a mild throat hit. And the aroma is a delicate fruity mix, mild and pleasing.
I vaped Punch Drunk for two plus days and found it especially refreshing late in the afternoon. Fruit flavored ejuices are not usually my first choice, but it seemed like I was constantly refilling my tank, that’s how much I was vaping, almost without noticing how quickly I was going through it. If you’re a fan of fruit based ejuice, especially authentic, fresh fruit based ejuices that are a little sweet, then you’ll want to sample Punch Drunk.
