Understatement can be a very powerful tool. A whisper will cause people to lean in and concentrate on what you’re saying much more readily than if you’d yelled. We’ve all been stopped in our tracks by a stern glance from a parent when we were caught doing something we knew we shouldn’t be.
A passing smile, arching of the eyebrow or hook of the index finger can all communicate in a very powerful way, often getting the point across more effectively than verbally communicating. Understatement is also powerful when it comes to flavors. A light, delicate taste has a way of drawing us in for just one more bite, again and again.
One of the champions of tasty understatement is the watermelon. When a watermelon is at the peak of ripeness, sweet, crisp and juicy, there’s little that’s more satisfying. A great deal of watermelon’s attraction comes from its light, almost delicate flavor. There is nothing overpowering about the flavor of watermelon.
That may be the major reason that watermelon is such a difficult flavor to successfully duplicate. I’ve yet to find a watermelon candy that actually tastes anything like actual watermelon. Every one I’ve tried is either way too sweet or too sour. It’s a tough taste to find done well in ejuice too. Many ejuice makers combine watermelon with other flavors, and it winds up getting nearly lost or coming across tasting like those watermelon candies.
It takes someone who’s confident in the flavor, and in themselves, to mix a solo watermelon ejuice, and to allow the delicateness of that taste to work in the favor of the ejuice. Vape Moar has mixed such an ejuice with their Summer Sweetie.

Summer Sweetie is as authentic a watermelon ejuice as I’ve ever tasted. On the inhale there’s a juicy sweetness, light, crisp and refreshing. This is definitely watermelon. The exhale is even milder, almost like the last bite of a big wedge of watermelon, the flavor fading all too quickly, as if foretelling the coming end of summer itself.
The vapor is a little warm and very smooth. The throat hit incredibly mild. Summer Sweetie has an aroma that is very authentic as well. Mildly sweet and fresh, but one that doesn’t linger.
If you love watermelon, fresh, juicy, sweet watermelon and have been looking for that flavor in an ejuice, this is it. I vaped Summer Sweetie for several days without any flavor fatigue. In fact the bottle was gone all too soon, much like summer itself.
