The signature flavor line from Skull & Raven is directly inspired by the prose of Edgar Allan Poe. That’s pretty obvious from the names, like the subject of this review, Nevermore. But it’s not just the name that is derived from Poe, it’s also the combination of ingredients that makes up the flavor and vaping experience. Skull & Raven describes Nevermore thus, “This decadent flavor combines blackberries and cream with a touch of vanilla to create a truly unique vaping experience, perfect for those weak and weary ponderings on dark and dreary nights.” See how “Nevermore” paints that picture more colorfully than, say, “blackberries and cream?”

Nevermore is a light bodied flavor with a smooth throat hit. Its vapor is plentiful and almost creamy going down. The aroma is a little subdued, not like sticking your nose into a bottle of blackberry preserves, but it’s definitely dominated by that tangy-sweet scent of blackberries freshly plucked from the bush.
Skull & Raven could have named this flavor “blackberries and cream” and no one would have argued. The taste is authentic, the cream and lightest hint of vanilla mitigates the tartness of the blackberry. There’s a juicy quality to the flavor, but it never ventures into the sticky-sweetness of blackberry jelly. This ejuice is so reminiscent of actual blackberries that you’ll half expect to find those little seeds in your teeth after vaping a tank of Nevermore.
Dreary midnights filled with ponderings of the weak and weary variety are a perfect time for partaking of Nevermore. But so is the brightest noon, or an evening of Netflix binging. We vaped Nevermore exclusively for the four days leading up to this review and have yet to tire of it. It’s another wonderful flavor from Skull & Raven that’s worth a try, especially if you’re a blackberry connoisseur.
Skull & Raven offers Nevermore in 15 ml, 30 ml and 60 ml sizes for $8, $15 and $28 respectively. Available nicotine levels are 12 MG, 18 MG and 24 MG. All of Skull & Raven’s ejuices are mixed in a 50/50 kosher food grade PG/VG ratio and include natural flavor extracts. We tested Nevermore in a Kangertech Aerotank Mega powered by an Innokin iTaste MVP 2. The bottle we sampled was provided by Skull & Raven for the purposes of this review.
