Today Seven Report received the latest kit from Kangertech, the SUBOX Mini starter kit. It contains the brand new KBOX mini and the Subtank Mini. The kit will be available to the public around June 10.
Kangertech shipped two of the SUBOX kits, one in black, the other in white. The Subtank Mini included in each kit is color coordinated with the mod. The mod is variable wattage from 7 to 50 watts. It’s powered by an external 18650 battery (not included). The KBOX Mini can fire coils down to 0.3 ohms (but the owner’s manual warns that coils with resistance above 1.6 ohm will be unable to be fired at the full 50 watts).
The Subtank Mini tank comes with two of Kanger’s OCC (organic cotton coil) heads, one rated at 0.5 ohm and the other at 1.5 ohm, plus Kanger’s newly improved mini RBA Plus base, boasting improved juice flow channels.
As I write this I have two batteries charging. In the next day or so I’ll post a “first look” article and video that will give more details on what comes in the package with the SUBOX Mini. After that I’ll use the kit extensively for a week or so and then come back with a full, in-depth review. If you follow Seven Report on Twitter or Face Book you’ll be notified via those channels when the new posts are live.
The Kangertech website lists the SUBOX Mini as available for pre-order for $82.90.
