First Look: Arymi Gil Kit

Arymi has packaged two of its earliest products, the Pro-One Mod and the Gille Tank as the Gil Kit. The Gille Tank included is a new, upgraded version with a new spring style 0.2 ohm NiChrome EOCC coil that is rewickable. (See our review of the Gille Tank here.)

The Gille is a top filler with a capacity of 3.0 ml. To fill the tank simply unscrew the coil cover and drip ejuice into the fill ports. To prime the coil Arymi suggests placing 5 – 6 drops of ejuice into the center of the cotton. Remove the top cover to access the top of the coil.

To change the coil, or remove it for rewicking, unscrew the coil cover and the top cover to pull out the coil. The Gille has four airflow ports, but airflow is not adjustable.

The Pro-One Mod has a wattage range of 7 – 75 watts and a temperature range of 200° F – 600° F in 10° increments and 100° C – 300° C in 5° degree increments. To select temperature control mode and coil material click the fire button three times to for each option, Nickel, Titanium, Stainless Steel and NiChrome. The final selection is variable wattage mode.

Adjust temperature or wattage settings by pressing the “+” or “-” button, which is actually one wide button below the OLED display. The right side is “+” the left is “-”. You can change the the display from a black background with white font to a white background with black font by holding in the fire and “+” buttons at the same time.

When you attach a new coil the OLED will read “New coil (+)/Old Coil (-)”. If it’s the first time you’ve used the coil on the Pro-One press “+” to set the base resistance of the coil.

I filled the Gille Tank with VaporFi’s Strawberry Shortcake Ice Cream, crafted by Cosmic Fog and let the coil soak for six or seven minutes. I set the coil material to NiChrome and the temperature to 350° F. Vapor and flavor production were both very good. I increased the temperature to 400° F and both increased. At 450° F vapor production was excellent and the flavor outstanding, that shortcake note was really popping.

I’ll be vaping with the Gil Kit extensively for a week or two and then will publish a full, in-depth review. If you follow Seven Report on Twitter or Facebook you’ll find out that way when that review is live.

Thanks to our friends at Arymi for supplying the Gil Kit for a Seven Report review. Find out more about the Gil Kit here.
