There’s something about Christmas that makes ordinary or every day things seem more festive. A string of lights, an evergreen tree, a greeting card; they’re all around us throughout the year. But come December, with an added splash of green and red, those items take on special meaning. The same goes for flavors. Twist some white peppermint candy into the shape of a cane, stripe it with red and you have a Christmas treat, the candy cane.

That taste is so closely related to Christmas that Stella Blues Vapors describes their Candy Cane ejuice simply as, “Peppermint candy cane.” No more is necessary. You know immediately what to expect. Peppermint, yes, but maybe something just a little extra, just a little more festive. I was vaping Candy Cane while out shopping for a Christmas tree, and that somehow made the whole experience a little more Christmasy.

The Numbers As Tested

Nicotine Level     24 MG
PG/VG Ratio      45/55

Candy Cane is definitely a peppermint flavored ejuice. But that flavor is just a tad mild, not nearly as strong as Stella Blues Vapors’ Spearmint ejuice (which we previously reviewed here.) I vaped in both the Aerotank Mega powered by the iTaste MVP 2 and the EVOD 2 and the taste was nearly identical, no matter the power setting. It’s minty and a little sweet, both on the inhale and the exhale. There is a slight aftertaste that lingers (but again, it’s not as strong as that of the Spearmint ejuice from Stella Blues Vapors). The hit is in the moderate range and the vapor is cool, even at 11 watts. Like the taste, Candy Cane has a definite, yet mild, peppermint aroma that’s quite pleasant.

The mildly sweet, minty taste makes Candy Cane an excellent choice for an after dinner vape, or for vaping while decorating the Christmas tree or wrapping presents. And it’s especially good with a cup of hot coffee or chocolate, which also helps to eliminate that aftertaste.

Candy Cane is available from Stella Blues Vapors in 15 ml, 30 ml and 50 ml sizes for $9, $15 and $23 respectively. The 15 ml and 30 ml are also available in glass bottles for an additional $2. Nicotine levels are from 0 MG to 24 MG in even numbered increments. All of Stella Blues Vapors ejuices come in a 45/55 PG/VG ratio, except for the Sub Ohm Line. Stella Blues Vapors also offers caffeine shots in their ejuices; you can add a single shot for $1 or a double shot for $2. We tested Candy Cane in a Kangertech Aerotank Mega powered by an Innokin iTaste MVP 2, and in the Kangertech EVOD 2. Stella Blues Vapors provided the bottle we sampled for the purpose of this review.
