I love breakfast foods. Trouble is, I love sleep a little more. So when I have to be somewhere especially early I’ll usually trade breakfast for an extra couple of minutes of sleep. I did early morning radio for more than fifteen years. I had to be at the station before 5 A.M. That meant leaving the house shortly after 4. That meant for more than 15 years I didn’t eat breakfast at home. Thank goodness for Pop Tarts. I used to buy them a case at a time and always had a stash at the radio station.

Cold cereal and milk may be convenient, but at that hour of the morning nothing is easier than opening a package of Pop Tarts and popping them in the microwave for 15 seconds or so. Sweet, flaky and the fruity center just warm enough to make it feel like you’d actually eaten something worthwhile. Yeah, I was something of a Pop Tart connoisseur back then.

So when I walked into Vapes Gone Wild, my local vape shop, about a week or so ago and they told me they’d added a new flavor to the menu that was kind of like a strawberry Pop Tart, I just had to try it. They were kind enough to give me a bottle to review. They call this new flavor Spiffy Juice. I don’t know why, but it kind of works.

Vapes Gone Wild describes Spiffy Juice as, “a sweet creamy strawberry flavor. Think of a pop tart, just without the crust.”

The Numbers As Tested

Nicotine Level         6 MG

That description isn’t too far off, though I am noticing something slightly akin to that flaky pastry in this ejuice. On the inhale there’s an initial sweet strawberry flavor. That’s quickly followed by something else, a little flaky like pastry, but not exactly. It could almost pass as another Crunch Berry ejuice, but not it’s not exactly that either.

spiffy juice bottleOn the exhale the strawberry lingers, but it’s a little lighter, and that mysterious secondary note smooths out a little. The throat hit is in the medium range. The vapor itself is just a little warm and billowy. And the aroma of Spiffy Juice is like sweet strawberry jam hiding under a thin layer of pastry.

This is a wonderful, lightly sweet, nuanced vape. I vaped it for a couple of days, finding it especially good in the early morning with that first cup of coffee. But I enjoyed it all day long. That 10 ml went much too quickly.

Vapes Gone Wild offers Spiffy Juice in 10 ml, 15 ml, 30 ml, 50 ml and 100 ml bottles for $4.99, $7.99, $12.99, $18.99 and $34.99. Nicotine levels are available in 1 MG increments from 0 MG to 32 MG. Vapes Gone Wild will mix Spiffy Juice in just about any PG/VG ratio that you like.

I vaped Spiffy Juice in a Kangertech Subtank Plus Black Edition with the Ni 200 coil on a SnowWolf 200 Watt TC mod. I found the sweet spot to be around 450°, but that’s me. Vapes Gone Wild provided the bottle of Spiffy Juice I sampled for the purpose of this review.
