Several weeks back Kangertech announced a new series of devices that they’ll market under the AKD Series label, AKD for Advanced Kangertech Design. The first of those devices, the Five6 was just revealed, and one is on its to Seven Report for review.
The Five6 comes packaged as a kit, with a Five6 mod and Five6 tank and two 0.6 ohm Tiger coils. The coils are triple coils in parallel. The mod boasts 222 watts max output, powered by 5 18650 batteries. And the tank has an 8 ml capacity. It’s a top-filler that looks like it works very much the SMOK TFV tanks, with a swivel open.
The tank allows you to select how many coils are being powered, from one – three. That function is a Kangertech patented design. The glass on the tank is supposed to change color based on temperature. And the mod acts as a power bank, allowing you to power other devices.
Kangertech’s websites list the Five6 as “coming soon.” I’ll check with them and see if they can provide a more precise release date.
I’m expecting the Kangertech Five6 to be delivered as early as Tuesday April 11. When it arrives I’ll post a quick Vape Mail piece, followed by a First Look a day or two later and then, after using the Five6 extensively for a week or so, I’ll do a full, in-depth review.
Follow Seven Report on Twitter or Facebook to be sure you don’t miss when those pieces are live. And congratulations to Kangertech. They’re getting ready to celebrate their 10th anniversary of bringing quality, cutting edge vape devices to market.
