There’s nothing more American than apple pie. It’s right up there with baseball, hot dogs and Chevrolet. At least that’s what we’ve been led to believe. Actually, recipes for apple pie date back to at least 1381 in England.
The English, Dutch and Swedes brought apple pie to the American colonies in the 17th and 18th centuries. And with the development of new species of apples in the New World, apple pie became a favorite in America.
The recipe is relatively simple. But in the hands of a skilled baker, or loving grandmother, there are few baked goods as delicious as an apple pie. It’s among my favorites, and quickly becoming one of my favorite flavors of ejuice.
Royal Heights Vapor makes a tremendous apple pie ejuice, called Slice. They describe Slice as, “Apples, apples and more apples layered with a flaky, buttery crust and topped with a hint of cinnamon. It’s not your grandmother’s apple pie, but you might think so by our description! You’ve just got to taste this one for yourself.”
The Numbers As Tested
Nicotine Level 6 MG
PG/VG Ratio 40/60
Slice from Royal Heights Vapor is a tasty ejuice that lives up to its description. The primary flavor is apple and lots of it. There’s the sweetness of baked apple, with just a tease of tart apple. On the inhale there’s a mild cinnamon note. The exhale includes more of that sweet apple and the light, sweet taste of flaky crust.
The vapor of Slice is warm, smooth and plentiful. The throat is rather light. Slice’s aroma is like that of an apple pie just coming out of the oven. The apple is predominant, but there’s also the hint of cinnamon and that flaky crust.
This is a wonderful tasting ejuice, sweet and warm and fresh. Like apple pie, there’s really no bad time to enjoy Slice. Morning, afternoon, evening, I vaped Slice throughout the day for more than two days. I especially enjoyed it with a hot cup of coffee. Slice is an ejuice anyone will enjoy, but especially those who love dessert flavored ejuice.
Royal Heights Vapor offers Slice in 30 ml glass bottles for $21.99. Nicotine levels are available in 6 MG increments from 0 to 18 MG. The PG/VG ratio is 40/60. I tested slice in a Kangertech Subtank Nano on an Eleaf iStick 50 watt. Royal Heights Vapor provided the bottle of Slice that I sampled for the purpose of this review.
