Though not the first person to be referred to as a “bombshell,” Marilyn Monroe epitomizes the term. Jean Harlow was the first actress referred to as a bombshell back in 1931. Other early uses were not limited to actresses, in the early 1930s someone wrote about Bonnie Parker, of Bonnie and Clyde fame, as “a rootin’, tootin’, whiskey-drinking blonde bombshell.”
The term’s popularity peaked with Marilyn Monroe. She appeared in her first film, “Dangerous Years,” in 1947. Her final finished project was “The Misfits” in 1961. She won a Golden Globe for the 1959 “Some Like It Hot.” More than 55 years after her death in 1962 she is still one of the best known personalities of her era.
When High Class Vape Co came up with their Bombshell line of ejuice it was only natural to include a flavor named for Marilyn Monroe. They describe Marilyn as “the perfect balance of a sweet natural strawberry mixed with sweet marshmallow fluff to make a mouth watering vape.”
The Numbers As Tested
Nicotine Level 3 MG
PG/VG Ratio 30/70
On the inhale Marilyn presents with a juicy sweet strawberry with just a hint of tartness. That tartness is quickly overwhelmed by a slightly sticky sweet hint of marshmallow. Marilyn has a mild throat hit and exceptionally smooth vapor. A light strawberry dominates the aroma.
The combination of strawberry and marshmallow gives Marilyn a unique profile. High Class Vape Co has managed to concoct a vape experience that’s nearly as memorable as its namesake. I’ve been vaping Marilyn for several days, and find it delightful. It’s a rich, sweet experience that’s just mild enough to vape all day.
High Class Vape Co offers Marilyn in 60 ml bottles for $22.99. Available nicotine levels are 0 MG, 3 MG, 6 MG and 12 MG. They mix Marilyn in a 30/70 PG/VG ratio. I vaped Marilyn in a SMOK TFV8 tank on the Kangertech Pollex mod. High Class Vape Co provided the bottle of Marilyn I tested for the purpose of this review.
