I may have to rethink my aversion to the use of lemon flavor in pastry. Or maybe not.
But I have rethought lemon pastry flavored ejuice. The last couple I’ve reviewed have been really good.
The most recent is Lemon Pound Cake from Perfect Vape. Actually, lemon pound cake is one of the few pastries with lemon flavor that I’ll occasionally eat. But I really have to be in the mood for it.
I like pound cake, especially with a light glaze. Pound cake has been around since the early 1700s, developed in Northern Europe. Pound cake gets its name from the original recipe, which calls for one pound of each of four ingredients; flour, butter, eggs and sugar. Any cake made with with an equal ratio of those four ingredients qualifies as a pound cake.
Perfect Vape’s description for this ejuice is simply the name, Lemon Pound Cake.

Lemon Pound Cake opens with a light lemon note that’s just a little tart, but that tartness is mellowed by the unmistakable flavor of sticky sweet glaze. On the exhale those lemon and glaze tastes are joined by a light cake texture.
Lemon Pound Cake ejuice from Perfect Vape is a wonderful balance of tart and sweet, pastry, glaze and lemon. I vaped it for three days and never experienced any flavor fatigue. This ejuice is even better than the pastry for which its named. It makes an excellent all day vape, not too sweet, not too tart.
Perfect Vape offers Lemon Pound Cake in a wide range of sizes, from 10 ml for $4.00, 4 ounces (which is about 120 ml) for $18.49 to 1 gallon for $303.90. Perfect Vape has nicotine levels of 0 MG, 3 MG, 6 MG, 12 MG, 18 MG or 24 MG. And they mix Lemon Pound Cake in wide range of PG/VG ratios.
I vaped Lemon Pound Cake in a SMOK TFV4 tank on a Kangertech KBOX 200 watt mod. Perfect Vape supplied the bottle of Lemon Pound Cake I sampled for the purpose of this review.
