Let me start this review off with a little disclaimer. If you’re a fan of fruity ejuice, especially of the citrus and exotic variety, like tangerine, mango, or kiwi, Latin Lover from V8P Juice International could very well become an obsession for you. If, by the end of this review, you decide to order a bottle of Latin Lover, do yourself a favor and get at least the 30 ml size, and give serious consideration to the 120 ml bottle.
When I first started communicating with V8P Juice about reviewing some of their ejuice they invited me to visit their website and pick out a couple of flavors. Whenever I get that opportunity I request at least one flavor that I normally wouldn’t go into a vape shop and sample. That gives me a chance to try some new things, get a fuller picture of an ejuice maker’s menu and helps keep me honest. And it provides a little variety for Seven Report. After all, if I only reviewed ejuices in flavor families that I already knew I liked it would get pretty boring for you and me both.
Latin Lover was the ejuice that fell into that category for me when I told V8P Juice the flavors I’d like to try. I’m glad I chose it. I vaped it so quickly I actually had to move up the video shoot of the review so I’d still have a little of the juice left to vape on camera. Now, in my defense, the bottle of Latin Lover I received wasn’t quite full. But I did vape through it in near personal record time.
The V8P Juice website says, “Latin Lover is our signature tangerine, mango, mint candy ejuice. A surprisingly refreshing vape, it tastes a lot like an orange tick tac. Latin Lover is for the true player in you, it’s off the chain! You gotta try this if you like minty fruity vapes!” And their flavor menu says Latin Lover is, “Our tangerine/mango sweet mint with hints of kiwi and watermelon, just how she likes it.”
The Numbers As Tested
Nicotine Level 6 MG
PG/VG Ratio 30/70
The dominate flavor in Latin Lover is tangerine, especially on the inhale. And there’s a definite presence of mango on the inhale too. On the exhale there’s just a teasing of kiwi with an even fainter essence of watermelon that join with the tangerine. That mint flavor that V8P Juice mentions is there, but I’m not sure I would have identified it if I hadn’t known it was present. It smooths out what could have been a sharpness from the tangerine and adds just a tickle of sweetness.
Latin Lover has a mild to almost medium throat hit. The vapor is smooth, a little warm, and refreshing. And the aroma is light, not overpowering in any way, but it’s very pleasant and dominated by the tangerine with just a glimmer of mango.
I vaped Latin Lover for a little more than a day, but again, I did vape the entire bottle. I kept telling myself, “Slow down, you have to save some of this for the review!” And then I’d answer myself, “Shut up, there’s plenty, just one more hit.” There wasn’t a bad time to vape Latin Lover, every tank was refreshing and enjoyable, even if it did raise some questions about my own mental stability.
Just one other little note here on how Latin Lover tasted to me. If I’d ordered it based on the description on the website and was expecting an orange tic tac flavor or a really strong minty flavor, I would probably have been disappointed. For me, Latin Lover is a wonderful tangerine and mango combination. Those other flavors are present, well maybe not the orange tic tac flavor, but are far from dominate, especially the mint.
Latin Lover is available from V8P Juice in glass dripper bottles in 10 ml for $10, 30 ml for $20, 120 ml for $75 and 250 ml for $125. Nicotine levels are 0, 3, 6, 12 and 18 MG. V8P Juice mixes their ejuices in a 30/70 PG/VG ratio, but will do a 50/50 mix at your request.
I vaped Latin Lover in a Kangertech Subtank Nano on an Eleaf iStick 50 Watt. V8P Juice provided the bottle of Latin Lover I sampled for the purpose of this review.
