There are originals, there are knock offs and then there is trademark infringement. And, apparently, trademark attorneys are so litigious that they’ll issue cease and desist orders and file lawsuits even when their product is in an entirely different category than the product they’re accusing of infringement.

That’s why you don’t see many ejuices with the exact same name as the product that inspired them. That seems to be especially true when it comes to ejuices based on cereal flavors.

The Original
The Original

I’ve reviewed about a half dozen cereal flavored ejuices, and vaped quite a few more. Not one of them carries the exact name of the cereal that inspired it. Oh, some have come close. And a few of the companies that make them have used the name of the cereal in their description of the ejuice. But none have gone so far as to actually put that cereal name on the label of a bottle of their ejuice. Probably a prudent move.

The Knock Off
The Knock Off

Vape Craft has a cereal flavored ejuice, and they’ve taken a rather cautious route when it comes to naming this ejuice. They call it Fruity Rings. The product page for Fruity Rings on the Vape Craft website describes this ejuice simply as, “Fruity Rings.” That’s it, no elaboration, no hint at the cereal that inspired this wonderful taste treat.

So I’m going to make something of a jump of logic here and suggest that Fruity Rings tastes an awful lot like Froot Loops cereal. It has a sweet blend of frooty flavors, with just a hint of citrus.

The Numbers As Tested

Nicotine Level         3 MG
PG/VG Ratio           50/50

Fruity Rings has a flavor that is so well blended, it’s difficult to pick out specific tastes. On the inhale there’s a light sweetness with hints of cherry and orange. On the exhale that sweetness is joined with what may be a light lemony note and something very creamy.

The vapor is a little warm and very smooth. Fruity Rings has a mild to almost medium throat hit. Its aroma is sweet and fruity without being too sticky sweet.

While Vapor Craft may not say it out loud, Fruity Rings is very reminiscent of that cereal favorite, Froot Loops. It’s a wonderfully refreshing, creamy smooth vape that is enjoyable all day. I vaped it for about three days and found it complex and nuanced.

VC Fruity Rings bottleIf you enjoy sweet, fruity flavored ejuices, still occasionally indulge in a bowl of Froot Loops, the original, not one of those store brand knock offs, then you’re going to love vaping Fruity Rings.

Vape Craft offers Fruity Rings in 120 ml plastic bottles for $15.00 and 120 ml glass bottles for $17.00. Available nicotine levels are 0 MG, 3 MG, 6 MG, 12 MG and 18 MG. Fruity Rings is mixed in a 30/70 PG/VG ratio.

I vaped Fruity Rings in a SMOK TFV4 tank on a Kangertech KBOX 200 watt mod. Vape Craft provided the bottle of Fruity Rings I sampled for the purpose of this review.
