First Look: Arymi Gille Tank
Kangertech has introduced a new brand, Arymi. The company’s new website says, “Arymi is a manufacturer of intelligent vape devices and accessories. At Arymi we strive to deliver products known for smart designs, innovative solutions and high quality.”
Their first product is the Gille Tank. The Gille is a top filler with a capacity of 3 ml. Arymi ships it with three 0.2 ohm EOCC coils, a spare Pyrex tank, some extra organic cotton and a set of seal rings.
Those EOCC coils are not like traditional coils. They’re made up of what Arymi calls a kanthal heating circle tube with replaceable organic cotton in the center. The manual says, “the coil heating surface is much increased compared to traditional resistance wire.” This design is supposed to increase efficiency in heating the coil. Arymi recommends a wattage range of 20 – 40 watts for the best performance of the EOCC.
To fill the Gille, unscrew the coil cover and pull the coil out of the tank, then drip ejuice into the tank. If you’re using a new coil be sure to prime it fully. Unscrew the top cover and remove the coil. Drip some ejuice onto the sides of the cotton. Then put the coil and coil cover back onto the tank, leaving the top cover off. Drip some ejuice onto the center of the cotton and put a few drops into the gaps. Put the top cover and drip tip back on and allow the cotton to fully saturate. Attach the reassembled Gille to a mod and you’re ready to vape.
I filled the Arymi Gille Tank with NovaJuice Rainbow Dust from NovaVapes, put the tank on the Kangertech KBOX 200, set it at 20 watts and gave it a first vape. Vapor production was decent and the flavor was good, if a little mild. I increased wattage in 5 watt increments. Vapor and flavor production increased at each level with the sweet spot for this juice at around 30 watts.
