There’s something amazing about how certain aromas can instantly trigger memories. Technically, it has something to do with the proximity of the brain’s olfactory cortex to the parts of the brain associated with memory, emotion and associative learning. The earliest associations we make with smells are usually the ones that we recall when we encounter that aroma later in life.

My grandmother loved to cook and bake. Well into her 90s she’d spend hours in the kitchen, churning out odoriferous concoctions. From simple bean soup to more complex seven layer baked ziti. And then there were the baked goods, cakes, pies, breads. Always from scratch. One of her specialties was banana nut bread. She didn’t make it often, demanding only the ripest bananas and fresh walnuts, which back then were not as readily available as they are now.

When I first vaped Dura Smoke Banana Nut Bread ejuice it was like I was back in my grandmother’s kitchen on a snowy Saturday morning. And that’s sort of how the official description of this juice reads on the American eLiquid Store website, “It’s like Grandma’s banana bread, for your vape. This delicious blend is infused with the vibrant flavors of toasted walnuts, perfectly ripened bananas and a warm, freshly baked scent. The comforting flavor and aroma waft over you inspiring daydreams of country kitchens, homemade dinners and peaceful evenings. With each element of our banana nut bread eliquid equally as satisfying as the last, you’r sure to get a heart vape with plenty of flavor and a throat hit that’s warm and inviting.

What truly makes this flavor a masterpiece is its ability to hold its flavor hit after hit. You won’t be let down while you power through a bottle of banana nut bread eliquid, every element we’ve incorporated into this complex flavor is true to the last drop. If you’re a fan of dessert flavors, richly-formulated eliquids or fruit-infused concoctions, this eliquid is a must-have for you!”

The Numbers As Tested

Nicotine Level     6 MG
PG/VG Ratio       0/100

Dura Smoke Banana Nut Bread is a delicately balanced mix of flavors. On the inhale there’s a smooth, moist, subtle banana note with a slightly more nutty flavor on the exhale. The essence of the bread that holds the recipe together is present throughout. The throat hit is mild and the vapor itself is warm and smooth. What really makes this a special vaping experience is the aroma. It’s eerily similar to the smell that filled my grandmother’s kitchen as she slid another loaf of banana nut bread from the oven and set it on the counter to cool.

I found myself vaping through nearly an entire bottle of Banana Nut Bread in little more than a day. It’s flavor was so mild that I kept taking “just one more hit” without realizing how much I’d actually vaped. As with many baked goods, this ejuice is especially enjoyable when you have some leisure time to sit and savor its subtle nuances. And a good cup of coffee adds to the experience, at least for me.

Banana Nut BreadI vaped Dura Smoke Banana Nut Bread in a Kangertech Subtank Nana powered by and Eleaf iStick and in an Aspire Nautilus Mini powered by an Innokin MVP 2. I did notice that the taste was slightly more fruity in the lower powered Nautilus and a little warmer and baked-goodier in the Subtank.
