There are a couple of ice cream places in my area that I really enjoy. They’re each part of a chain, and they’re very similar. Each of them have a wide variety of gourmet flavored ice cream and toppings. Their gimmick is hinted at in their names, Marble Slab Creamery and Cold Stone Creamery.
Each of these stores scoops out your ice cream onto a refrigerated stone or marble slab. Then they roll out the ice cream, add the toppings and fold the whole thing together before putting into a cup or cone.
The worst part about going to one of these stores is if you get stuck in line behind a family with a lot of kids, indecisive kids. Each of these ice cream shops offers dozens of candies as toppings. Faced with that many options most kids eyes kind of glaze over, they lose the power of intelligible speech and, in extreme cases, they’ll begin to drool.
I’ve never opted for candy toppings on my ice cream, usually going with raspberries or hot chocolate fudge. But I can see the appeal of Gummy Bears or Skittles mixed into a bowl of Cotton Candy flavored ice cream to a sugar addicted pre-teen.
I don’t know if Ted from Deluxe Ejuice has ever been to one of these ice cream stores, but I wouldn’t be surprised if he has. One of the newest flavors on the Deluxe Ejuice menu is Unicorn Vomit. The official flavor description of that ejuice says, “Unicorn Vomit is a rainbow of flavors that comes straight from the puke of a unicorn. Taste of sweet candy and ice cream flavors. Unicorn Vomit tastes a lot like what I imagine a cotton candy type flavor ice cream with Skittles or Jolly Ranchers mixed in would taste like. On the inhale there’s a burst of sweetness with just a hint of something slightly tart. The flavor smooths out and becomes a little more creamy on the exhale, sort of like smooth ice cream.
The vapor is rich and just a little warm. The throat hit is solidly in the medium range. Unicorn Vomit has a sour candy aroma, a little like Sour Skittles. The overall feel of this ejuice is very bright.
I vaped Unicorn Vomit for about three days. When I first tried it I didn’t know if I’d be able to vape it exclusively for that long, but this full-bodied flavor grew on me. I didn’t tire of it and found it very refreshing. If you enjoy sweet tastes with a little bit of tart, and you can get past that name, then Unicorn Vomit is definitely worth a try.
