I’ve reviewed over 100 ejuices since I started Seven Report. I’m still occasionally surprised by the flavor combinations some ejuice makers come up with. Usually when I find an ejuice with an unusual mix of tastes I’m pleasantly surprised by how it turned out.
That’s the case with the latest flavor I tried from Forge Vapor, Tempered Citrus. Given that name I was expecting something a little sweet, maybe a little tart and juicy. And Tempered Citrus met those expectations, but it’s even more than that.
The Forge Vapor website says, “Tempered Citrus is a sweet and smoky orange flavor with almost none of the traditional citrus bite or bitterness. It’s surrounded by a tasteful combination of graham cracker and cranberry for a unique all day flavor that defies comparison.”
American eLiquid Store, who supplied Tempered Citrus (and the rest of the Forge Vapor menu) for review says, “We’ve tempered the citrus high note, so you can unleash the heat. Tempered Citrus is a blend of juicy sweet orange and a dash of cranberry flavor complimented by a light Graham Cracker Crumble.”

I suppose orange and cranberry doesn’t sound too crazy, but not even Ocean Spray makes a Cran-Orange drink. Though they do make Cran-Mango, Cran-Tangerine and Cran-Lemonade. When you factor in the graham cracker flavor, well, that’s a taste combination I never would have thought of. I’m glad the folks at Forge Vapor did, it’s actually quite enjoyable.
The first flavor to greet your taste buds is orange. It’s lightly sweet, mild and juicy. The cranberry comes next, even milder but just tart enough to let know it’s there. On the exhale is when the graham appears, mildly sweet giving Tempered Citrus a nice smooth finish.
The vapor is on the cool side, and it’s smooth. The throat hit is mild. Tempered Citrus has a distinctly orange aroma, but it’s not overpowering. It’s like someone has just sliced into a fresh orange on the other side of the room.
This is the fourth of the ten Forge Vapor ejuices I’ve reviewed, and it is by far the one with the mildest flavor. Don’t get me wrong, it’s delicious, but mild. And that seems to work in its favor, it almost teases you to take another vape, just to get a little more of that juicy taste.
I vaped Tempered Citrus for about three days, all day, and never got tired of it. Quite the opposite, I couldn’t put it down. If you prefer your ejuice on the mild, yet sweet and juicy side, Tempered Citrus is going to wow you.
