There are few things that can turn an ordinary day into a special day like a box of donuts. Walk into the break room at work to put your lunch in the fridge on any run-of-the-mill weekday and it’s just another day at the office. But if there’s a box of donuts on the counter suddenly it’s Donut Day! You know those eight hours are just going to fly by now, every task will be a little easier, a little more enjoyable, all thanks to those tasty pastries.
That is unless you happen to grab a lemon filled donut, believing it to be jelly or custard filled. They’re sneaky little pastries, those lemon filled donuts, masquerading as their sweeter brothers. You can’t tell them apart unless you cut them in half, and who has time for that kind of nonsense. When faced with a dozen donuts you just grab one and take a big bite. And that’s how they get you, those tart devil donuts.
I am not a fan of lemon donuts, they’ve fooled me too many times. So when I read the description of Meringue O Tang,one of the flavors from VaporFi’s Grand Reserve Collection, I was a little skeptical.

What VaporFi has managed with Meringue O Tang is something very rare for an ejuice, it actually tastes better, at least to me, than the flavor on which it’s based. Meringue O Tang opens with a light, creamy sweetness, like a glazed donut while it’s still warm. That’s joined by a slightly sweet, tart citrus note, lemon. The exhale maintains that balance of tart lemon and sweet donut.
The vapor is on the warm side, and creamy smooth. The throat hit is mild. Meringue O Tang has an aroma that’s a little like freshly baked donuts with a fresh lemon note.
I’ve said I’m not a fan of lemon donuts. And lemon itself has never been my first, or even second choice of flavors of anything. But if a bakery or donut shop could somehow duplicate the taste of Meringue O Tang in an actual donut I’d be sure to include a couple in every dozen I bought.
This is a delightfully complex, slightly sweet, satisfying vape experience. I vaped Meringue O Tang from the VaporFi Grand Reserve Collection for about three days and never got tired of it. It’s a marvelous all day vape. And if you’re actually a fan of lemon, then Meringue O Tang is going to quickly become a new favorite.
