The first ejuice I ever bought was a tobacco flavor, straight up, no frills tobacco. The second ejuice I bought was another tobacco variety, an RY4, sweeter but still very much a tobacco based flavor. And for the first couple of weeks that I was vaping those were the only flavors I used. I eventually widened my flavor selection, but for a few months I made sure I always had a bottle of tobacco flavored ejuice on hand, kind of like a security blanket.
Those tobacco flavored ejuices were enough to keep me from going back to smoking, I haven’t had a tobacco cigarette since the day I started vaping. But I can’t tell you the last time I bought a tobacco flavored ejuice. Oh, I still vape them, but that’s because ejuice companies keep sending them for review.
I find it interesting that so many vapers feel so strongly about this flavor category, many either love tobacco ejuices or simply turn their nose up at the mere mention of them. Odd, seeing how every vaper I know came to vaping from smoking tobacco.
Like any flavor category, tobacco flavored ejuices come in a very wide variety. Some, like that first ejuice I used, are straight up, no mistake about it tobacco flavors. And there are others in which the tobacco flavor is barely noticeable, if you didn’t read the description you might not even guess that tobacco flavoring was in there.
Mellow Gold from Vape Moar is a tobacco flavored ejuice where the tobacco taste is obvious, but not overpowering. Mellow Gold begins with a mild tobacco taste on the inhale. That’s joined quickly by a nutty undertone and then soft sweetness of caramel. That sweetness lingers through the exhale and Mellow Gold finishes with a distinguished tobacco note.
The vapor of Mellow Gold is warm and smooth and the throat is surprisingly mild for a tobacco based flavor. The aroma is complex, a little difficult to pigeonhole. There’s a slight nutty fragrance and definite caramel tones. The tobacco is in there too, but it’s a very mild addition to the overall aroma.
Mellow Gold is a complex vape, a little sweet with a hint of nuts and mild tobacco overtones. I vaped it for several days and found it especially good after eating something savory or salty and with a cup of coffee. If you always have a bottle of tobacco flavored ejuice in your vape rotation then you’ll definitely enjoy Mellow Gold.
