Our friends at Kangertech sent vape mail that arrived on Tuesday. I didn’t get around to opening it until today because I’ve been sick the last couple of days, which has put the Seven Report production schedule a little behind. But I will be posting the First Look at the SMOK R-Steam Mini, the in-depth review of the Kangertech DRIPBOX and more ejuice reviews over the course of the next few days to a week or so.
And now I get to add the newest Kangertech tank to that list, the CL Tank 4.0. The CL Tank is available in 2.0 ml and 4.0 ml sizes. Yes 2.0 ml seems extremely stingy to me too, but the CL Tank is a direct response to the TPD (Tobacco Product Directive) in the EU. This is legislation that will take effect in May 2016 and places some ridiculous limitations on vaping hardware and ejuice. Tanks will be limited to 2 ml capacity and ejuice can only be sold in 10 ml or smaller bottles.
The CL Tank is designed to be compliant with these regulations in the EU. It features a child lock, is top filling and leak proof. It ships with two of Kanger’s new CLOCC coils, a 0.5 ohm stainless steel (SUS316L) coil and a 0.15 ohm Ni 200 coil.
Kanger offers the CL Tank in red, silver, black and white. No word yet on when the new tank will ship, but it is available for pre-order through one of Kanger’s website with a list price of $28.90.
I’ll post a First Look piece on the CL Tank in the next few days and then, after using the tank extensively for a week or so, will post an in-depth review. If you follow Seven Report on Twitter or Facebook you’ll find out that way when those pieces are live.
