Coil Master’s new 521 Tab is an amazingly versatile little device. The box contains an ohm meter, a voltage meter for mech and regulated mods, serves as a coil rebuilding deck and will allow you to test burn your coils. And it will also function as a table mod.
Where the 521 Tab really seems to shine is as a coil rebuilding deck. In the limited instances that I’ve attempted rebuilds one of the biggest challenges is keeping the RBA steady while I’m attaching the coil and wicking it. The 521 Tab holds whatever you’re working on nice and steady, freeing up both hands for the job.
The 521Tab is powered by a single 18650 battery, not included, has a clear, sharp OLED display with an ohm meter that reads to two decimal places. It has a three position switch, off, “fire” and “test.”
The 521 Tab is designed for beginning and advanced users. With its arrival and the recent arrival of Coil Master’s new DIY Kit V2 (I’ll be doing a First Look of that product in the next few days), it’s time to break out a couple of mini RBA decks and start some rebuilding projects. I’ll have an in-depth review of the Coil Master 521 Tab in the next week or so. If you follow Seven Report on Twitter or Facebook you’ll find out that way when that review is live.
Coil Master provided the 521 Tab for the purpose of a Seven Report review.
