If you’ve spent any amount of time with Seven Report you know that I love coffee. My normal, go-to is a medium blend cup of black coffee. But I also enjoy espresso based flavored coffees. In fact, this past Christmas my wife and I bought ourselves one of those fancy Ninja Coffee Bars so that we could make our own espresso type drinks, iced coffees and regular black coffee at home. Those trips to Starbucks and other coffee shops were getting pretty expensive.

Coffee is not only my favorite beverage, it’s also one of my favorite vapes. I’ve reviewed half a dozen or so coffee flavored ejuices for Seven Report and sampled at least a dozen others. Some have been excellent, others, not so much. There are two major shortcomings I’ve experienced with coffee flavored vapes; first, some of them have a base flavor that tastes like coffee brewed from beans that have been over roasted to the point of tasting almost burnt. And then there are others that add so many secondary flavors that the coffee taste gets lost.

VF Best in show logoNone of that is true of Catch Ya Latte, one of the flavors from the VaporFi Grand Reserve Line. This is one of the finest coffee flavored ejuices I’ve tried, and I’m not alone in that assessment, Catch Ya Latte won Best In Show in the coffee category at the Vape Summit 2015.

The official description of VaporFi’s Catch Ya Latte reads, “Coffee connoisseurs take their coffee very, very seriously, and for those of you who drink only the best, this deliciousness was crafted with you in mind! Imagine fresh brewed espresso poured over the finest crushed hazelnuts, finished with a rich swirl of brown-butter caramel, creating an authentically sophisticated, lush, velvety latte.”

The Numbers As Tested

Nicotine Level        3 MG
PG/VG Ratio          30/70

Catch Ya Latte opens with the distinctive flavor of freshly brewed espresso with just enough caramel to add a slightly sweet, smooth and syrupy note that keeps that espresso from becoming overpowering. At the tail end of the inhale there’s a hazelnut undertone. On the exhale that hazelnut note lingers, along with the essence of caramel syrup.

The vapor leans to the warm side and the throat hit is mild. The aroma of Catch Ya Latte is amazingly reminiscent of being next in line at the gourmet coffee shop, just close enough to the espresso machine to almost feel the heat coming off the steam.

VaporFi’s Catch Ya Latte is an amazing ejuice, with a complex and multi-layered flavor profile. It’s one of those rare ejuices that stands up to extended vaping sessions and can be vaped for multiple days without flavor fatigue. I vaped it exclusively for about three days, at all times of day. It’s rich, full-bodied, a little dark and slightly sweet. It’s great on its own and even better with a cup of coffee.

VF catch ya latte bottle-boxIf you enjoy coffee flavored ejuices that don’t have that over roasted nature and allow the coffee flavor to cut through the secondary tastes, then you absolutely have to try VaporFi’s Catch Ya Latte from their Grand Reserve Line.

VaporFi offers Catch Ya Latte in 30 ml glass dripper bottles for $21.99. Available nicotine levels are 0 MG, 1.5 MG, 3 MG, 6 MG, 12 MG and 18 MG. VaporFi mixes Catch Ya Latte in a 30/70 PG/VG ratio.

I vaped Catch Ya Latte in a Kangertech Subtank Plus Black Edition with a Ni 200 coil powered by a VaporFi VOX TC 50 watt mod. VaporFi provided the bottle of Catch Ya Latte I sampled for the purpose of this review. VaporFi is a Seven Report advertiser.
