Combining flavors can be a tricky endeavor. Some seem to go together almost naturally, like bacon and eggs, peanut butter and chocolate, peaches and cream. Others can be more of a love it or hate it situation, like peanut butter and bananas, peanut butter and hamburgers, peanut butter and bacon. And then there are those that on first glance seem so out there you have to wonder how anyone ever worked up the nerve to actually try them, like bananas and ketchup, vanilla and scallops, Parmesan and dark chocolate.
I suppose most flavor combinations, even the classics, had their doubters when they were first introduced. It takes a special kind of confidence and expertise to mix up something new and then actually taste it. Thank goodness for those brave culinary pioneers. And thank goodness there daring ejuice mixologists willing to experiment, like the folks at Deluxe Ejuice. Their Blueberry Blast is one of those taste combinations that I would have never thought of.

When I first described Blueberry Blast to my wife and daughter as a blueberry menthol mix their initial reactions were almost identical, an involuntary grimace at the thought of two flavors that are not traditionally mixed. My wife is not a menthol fan, and you would never mistake my daughter for a blueberry lover.
My reaction was a little more open-minded, “this might be pretty interesting,” I thought. And I was right. Blueberry Blast is a very refreshing vape experience. On the inhale your tongue is bathed in a sweet, juicy blueberry. That is quickly followed by the icy cool, minty menthol. On the exhale the menthol leads with just a hint of that sweet blueberry.
Given how cool the overall flavor is, the vapor itself is surprisingly on the slightly warm side. The throat hit is mild. And the aroma is dominated by the minty fragrance of the menthol with traces of sweet, ripe blueberry.
The overall experience is like eating a bowl full of frozen blueberries with a dash of mint. It was especially refreshing in the heat of a late Georgia afternoon in August. It was so cool that I was tempted to pull on a jacket.
If you’re a fan of blueberries or menthol you’ll find Blueberry Blast especially enjoyable. But if you not very fond of one of them you might not be fond of Blueberry Blast, each flavor is fully represented.
I vaped Blueberry Blast for several days and it was definitely sweet and minty. Deluxe Ejuice has done a wonderfully job on the blending of the flavors in this ejuice. And, unlike many menthol ejuices, there was barely any lingering minty aftertaste.
