Kangertech IKEN Kit Vape Mail

Kangertech is set to release another product in their AKD (Advanced Kangertech Design) series, the IKEN Kit. And they sent one to Seven Report for review.

The IKEN Kit includes the IKEN Mod and IKEN Tank. The mod has a wattage range of 1 – 230 watts and temperature control ranges of 200° – 600° F and 100° – 300° C. It operates in several output modes, VW/Ni/Ti/SS/TCR (M1, M2). It will fire coils with a resistance range of 0.1 – 5.0 ohm. Kangertech put a 5100 mAh internal battery into the unit and equipped it with a 1.54” army grade TFT screen. The IKEN Mod will operate in three modes, beginner, intermediate and expert.

The IKEN Tank has a 4 ml capacity and is a top filler. The airflow is also at the top of the tank, Kangertech calls it the latest “U” airflow technology. They’ve run the tank through 500 independent tests over 3 months without a leak. The IKEN Tank comes with a 0.2 ohm SSOCC coil installed and a spare in the box. Also included are a micro USB charging cable and a manual.

I’m going to give the manual a thorough read (or two) and then in a few days will post a First Look. In that piece I’ll go over the specs and operation of the IKEN Kit, fill the tank with ejuice and give it a first vape. The Kangertech website lists the IKEN Kit as a pre-order item with a list price of $71.90, but right now it’s priced at $61.90.
