Kanger Pollex Kit Vape Mail

Kangertech shows no sign of slowing down their pace of releasing new products. On Friday (while I was out of town for the day job) another new product in the AKD (Advanced Kangertech Design) series arrived. Kanger calls it the Pollex Kit, though it’s a stand alone mod, their first new mod introduced as a stand alone in the AKD series.

Information on the Pollex just started showing up a few hours after I shot the “Vape Mail” video on Sunday. The Pollex is a touchscreen device powered by an internal 3500 mAh battery. The kit also includes what looks like a very comprehensive manual and a micro USB charging cable.

The Kangertech Pollex has only one button, the fire button. Everything else is controlled via the 2.4” Super Touchscreen. The mod has a pwer range of 1 – 100 watts and a temperature range of 100 – 200 C and 200 – 600 F. Output modes include variable wattage, temperature control with Ni, Ti and SS coils and 2 memory settings for TCR.

Operating modes include Beginner, Intermediate and Expert, again, all selected through the touchscreen menu. You can lock the screen and set brightness of the display and reset the device to factory defaults.

Kangertech has started promoting the Pollex Kit on social media, but there’s nothing yet on their website, and no word on price or when it will be available. Hopefully I’ll have some of that information shortly. In the next few days I’ll post a “First Look” where I’ll go over the specs and settings give the Pollex a first vape. Then after extensive use for a few weeks I’ll post a full, in-depth review. To make sure you get notified of those posts follow Seven Report on Twitter and Facebook.

And you can check the Kangertech website for updates as well, here. Thanks to our friends at Kangertech for providing the Pollex Kit for review.
