First Look: KIMSUN STL Wolf

I was unfamiliar with KIMSUN when they contacted me about reviewing their products. So I did a little research on them. KIMSUN is the international brand of KIMREE, which has been around since 2006. Like many vape manufacturers, KIMSUN is based is based in Shenzhen, China.

They have a pretty impressive variety of products, including mods and tanks. The first product they sent for Seven Report to review is the STL Wolf Starter Kit. It includes the 1100 mAh STL Wolf battery, the C-Tank Plus, a 0.2 ohm coil, micro USB charging cable and owner’s manual.

STL Wolf contentsThe STL Wolf will fire coils down to 0.2 ohm. It recharges via a micro USB port near the bottom of the unit. And it has a 510 connection. The C-Tank Plus has a capacity of 2.0 ml and has adjustable airflow.

To turn the unit on and off you press the fire button five times. The STL Wolf has a light that flashes when you turn it on or off and fire it. The light is illuminated while it charges and will go out when it’s fully charged.

kimsun C Tank Plus officialI filled up the C-Tank Plus with Cinnanutz ejuice from Vapes Gone Wild, let the coil get saturated for about five minutes and took a first vape. I was pretty impressed with the amount of vapor the 1100 mAh STL Wolf produced. I tried it with the airflow wide open, at about half open and nearly closed. The sweet spot for Vapor and flavor production seemed to be with the airflow set about mid way.

I’ll be using the STL Wolf extensively for the next week or so and then come back with a full, in-depth review. If you follow Seven Report on Twitter or Facebook you’ll find out that way when that review has been posted.

Thanks again to KIMSUN for providing the STL Wolf Starter Kit for a Seven Report review.
